changing iac valve and tps

Smile changing iac valve and tps

whne changing the iac or tps do i need to dissconect the negative cable from the battery

my truck runs fine shifts fine through all the gears

it just dies whne im at a stop or when u go to shift in drive or reverse

Yes, you do. Computer needs to learn base values for the new parts.

+1, and anytime you are working with anything electrical it should be disconnected, regardless of whether or not you want to reset the pcm.
