Why would you want to?

That's like removing your air filter, sure you can do it, but why?

You have a '95? Only one O2 sensor, and it's before the cat. Leave it.

i cut my cat off gutted it and hung the shell back up than straight piped it toay. I did the cat because it was clogged (pulled the O2 sensor out it responded better). i couldnt get the front one off so i just cut it and unclipped it. (im getting a new exaust in like two months) both O2 sens. were bad looking ill post a pic. I can say that i gained speed. (but tends to make me think thats just because the cat isnt clogged anymore) however i can say that ive lost power (torque wise) normally i can park my truck by the curb and slowly go up it and onto the grass. when i tryed it tonight after doing my cat by back wheels just slipped.

It'll kill your mileage and power. But if you want to pay too much to go too slow, rock on.

You'll be fine for a short period of time.
