That cooling system filter seems like an awesome idea. I would change the filter after about 500 miles of driving because that thing would catch most of the crap in the cooling system pretty quick.

I got the idea from a reader of Auto Restorer Magazine. He said that after the third filter change one the one vehicle he installed his that the coolant was super clean. BTW -- I recommend that periodical to all gearheads. NO ads, great tech articles, and the feature car is rarely, if ever, the usual Mustang, Trans Am, or any other played out pony car. I've learned a lot of about WWII military vehicles

Well I guess I can call it fixed. It won't take any more coolant and I drove about 45 miles today and didn't see any coolant around the freeze plugs a couple hours after getting home. I missed driving that thing, I went from having my butt just over ankle high from the ground in the Camaro to having it about belly high in the truck.
