Default how do i remove my leveling kit

hey i want to remove my 2.5 leveling kit on my 01 2500 4x4. i bought the truck with it on and i'm looking to bring the truck back to how it looks stock along with stock wheels and tires...

is removing the level kit something i can do in my driveway or so i need special tools?

What kind is it? Coil spring spacers?

yeah they sit on top of the coil spring and bolt to the top of the shock tower...

Yeah, disconnect the front sway bar, then jack the truck up enough to unload the springs, (have to pull shocks as well I do believe.) and just remove the spacers.

Will need the factory metal ring with the studs for the shock tower though. At least mine had them, 1500 though.

You are correct, you need those oem rings. I happen to be looking at a couple right now. But they ain't gonna be cheap. LOL

no advice on how to remove the coil spring lift, but I agree with going smaller. I'm thinking about running 30x9.5 tires. Right now mine have the equivalent to 32x10.5. And I mutter to myself that I should see about lowering the front by an inch. (I won't be doing that) I love 4x4, but I'm not really hardcore off roading. Just some sand dunes, snow, and yard work.
