Have a look at some of the polls in the FAQ/DIY section for idea on part brands.

A lot of folks have reported trouble using fancy 'rare earth' type spark plugs. Just using plain jane stock copper plugs in your brand of choice seems to work better on these engines.

Get a cap with brass terminals.

I went with Champion Copper plugs and a NAPA brand cap with brass terminals. Wires were also a basic NAPA brand. Runs like a champ though.

As for oil, I run a 5w-30.

You forgot to mention what brand of oil filter you use, and that you're also a BMF*.

I used Copper NGK's last round and it worked well. Next week I'll be swapping them for Autolite 3923's to see what there about. As for oil changes, I use SuperTech 10w 30 oil and a Motorcraft FL1A filter. Runs me $12 an oil change. Any cap with brass terminals will do you just fine.

Haha, I run a Mopar oil filter. Funny thing is, I run a Mopar filter on my Mustang GT too.
