Default Trans Leak 97 Ram 2500

I moved my truck this morning and noticed fluid on the drive way. It seems like my trans is leaking. Is there a more common place on the trans that I should look at. The truck has 153000 miles on it. I believe the trans was rebuilt by the po do to it have 153000 miles on it and shifting perfect.

Could be anything from rear seal at driveshaft, to pan, or cooling lines. Have you added fluid to it? Check fluid in neutral after tranny is warmed up and see how low it is. If it is overfilled, it is seeping from vent hole on pump plate and will come out below TC. Also may check at neutral start switch or speed sensor.

I noticed it late last night. It's defiantly trans fluid. It did look like it could have been coming from the TC. It was all the way in the back dripping from the skid plate. Its really hard to say without cleaning it as it could have be blown back.

It looked like fresh fluid. I guess it could be possible that the PO overfilled it. I've had it since early Oct. I have probably put a total of 200 miles on it, since I got it. Could the trans be over filled and take that long to start over flowing?

It may take a while. Keep an eye on the level and the drip. Other option is pump seal, but that is not likley unless there are other issues to cause that.
