OH, and with the routing, you may need more wire:

1. From box to ignition, have the wires go across the top with the main wiring harness on top of the firewall over the air intake and under the weatherstripping. Have the wires go down the gulley between the head and intake on the passenger side.
2. From box to coil plug wire. Route the same way, but have it go ALL THE WAY to the AC condenser piping and follow that all the way down until it is perpendicular to the coil. Use zip ties. You want to be AWAY from the headers AND the fan blades.

And on other hand the box still didnt work no matter how i wired it...called msd said i have to get the tach adapter to get it to run.....we wil wait on ups now and see
They lied. I didn't need one of them and mine works. Must have talked to a chevy guy who thought that you needed to plug it into the distributor. When I called they said "Page 16 diagram 2" The colors matched up perfectly.

Send the tach adapter back.

Do not buy a MSD box for performance or MPG gains. You will not get what you are paying for. Plus, to really get the gains, you need a higher powered coil. Then you can gap your plugs a teeny bit more.
1. Get the SCT from hemifever: $265
2. Get the plenum kit from hughesengines.com. 145 bucks (get the bolts too!)
3. Get these: Bosch design III 19lb fuel injectors
http://fuelinjectorconnection.com/sh...d&productId=81

Here is how they flow compared to our PENCIL injectors (Same as lucas): Best fuel atomization (video made by the guy who sells them in the prev link)

But you are better off just getting the tune and plenum kit. No need to mess with injectors that cost 170 bucks. I have the ones on the RIGHT!!! Had to get the fuel trimmed down A LOT with custom tuning. I get 11 MPG city on my rig and 16 highway.
