Blinker woes, WTF could it be.
94 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2
Blinkers stopped working one day out of the blue and have not worked since. Flashers, however do work. I have checked all fuses and they were good, even reseated every one but didn't help. Next I replaced the flashers, my truck has two 2 prong flashers replaced both of them, nothing. Next I took the steering column shoud off and inspected for loose or damaged wiring, nothing. And finally while I had the shoud apart I replaced the multi function ignition switch....and you guessed it....Nothing. I'm at a loss at what the heck to throw at it next. Any help would greatly appreciated.

You need a Haynes or download one of the free manuals from the FAQ/DIY section, so you can trace the wires. Specifically the grounds. Also check the harness/plug at the back if you have tow package . If all else fails, maybe this will help,

if you have a digital multimeter try back probing the bulbs to see if they're getting current (while the blinker is on of course). if you don't have a multimeter a test light would work also. if no current then trace the wire back to the power source. if power is there, follow the wire to the ground location. (for anything on the ground side of the bulb you will need a multimeter.) a test light won't work because ideally, the bulb should be dropping the 12 volts
