Default 4wd lockers

My buddy has a 92 chevy that has a toggle switch on the dash to lock in the front hubs. So he can have low side 2wd if he needs or wants it. I was wondering how you would do this? I would like to if it wouldnt cost a whole lot. His truck was like that when he bought it

Those chevys have an electronic actuator that engages the front axle. Our system is based off a vacuum system. It can probably be done, but I'm not sure how you would go about doing it...

I know there is the manual locker using a cable http://www.pavementsucks.com/tech-article-29.html

Using an electric over vacuum switch would be cool.

I know there is AIR switches but I can not think of any for vacuum..
