i love the airgap and tb. i had the SCT before them so i dont know how much it wakes them up. but i know all together its a beast.

Double suck? Wouldn't think it would help. Gotta consider the weakest link is going to have to be improved.

You don't need a custom tune unless you upgrade the camshaft/injectors or add a supercharger or turbo.

I want to run the big gulp and the 4 hole injectors. A cam is in the plans when I rebuild.

But it sure can improve performance....especially if your dealing with Death flashed ECM...

I talked to Shawn and he said that he could fine tune a custom tune and squeeze a couple more ponies out of my truck but it wouldn't be worth the extra $100 for custom over canned tunes with my setup. My setup is 1.7 roller rockers, Airgap, 50mm throttle body, and less restricted exhaust.
Upgraded heads is the other one that I forgot to mention for needing a custom tune.

Sorry I should clarify I meant any "custom" tune besides stock Oem tune... I didnt put two and two together and realize you where only talking about custom tunes tailored for specific mods to a specific truck.
