Default what gears for a ram 1996 2500 v10

I have a 96 2500 v10 club cab long bed, i am wanting to put 37 inch tires on it, so i am wondering if i can leave the stock gears or should I upgrade?

You can use stock gears. Not recommended though. Not sure which gears though. Someone else with more knowledge will probably chime in.

yeah 4.88 for 37" and 4.56 for 35" tires...otherwise it will be a dog and struggling to get out of its own way...and your speedo and such will be off.

What he said. I run 4.56 gears with 35's. I bought it with stock 3.55 gears. What a pig. No wonder the guy wanted to sell it lol
