Default Console Removal?

I need to remove the center (seat back) console in my 99 Dodge Ram. Does anyone know how to do this? It is hinged to the seat bottom but I don't see a way to remove those hinge arms. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I looked in tha manual and it appears to me that you have to pull the whole seat out. I could be wrong. I was looking as I need to reupholster mine sometime.

there are 4 bolts underneath the seat that holds it in place. take them out and the seat will lift out but the hinged part will still be there unless you cut them off.

+1, four bolts and the whole middle seat will come out. After that. You'll see the rest of the story.
