Default tire size ??

ok this truck i just got has 245/75/16 on it. I asked for the build sheet and it says 245. BUT the door jam sticker says 225 witch is the lesser option size for the truck. Which one would you believe in order to stay stock. For now anywaY!! :O lol

225 was the standard size. 245 was an option that requires a speedometer correction.

put some 265 or 285's on there. they look good.
fill out your signature. year, 2wd/4wd, etc.

Strange... my '98 1500 base model came from the factory with 245's, with 265's optional. What year is your truck that 225's were standard?

My '01 base is 225 too. The guy I bought the truck from had 245's on it, not sure if he did that or if it was an option.

It's got 17" wheels and 265's now.

ok so i filled out my sig finally. Realize not easy to talk about what you guys dont know what i have. This truck sits lower than the 2000 I had. could the stance have something to do with the oem and option tire sizes? Oh this thing also has "HEAVY DUTY' shocks. it rides like a sports car. And they are listed on build sheet. I LIKE IT!!!
