Default HELP PLEASE!!

My wheels:
2001 Dodge Ram 1500
Extended Cab
5.2L V8 Magnum
Everything is bone stock (For Now)
101000 km

I was driving, and all of a sudden my engine seized up... no reason as of yet, but all regular maintainence has been done, this truck has been pretty much babied since I got it new. Anyone else have any experience with problems like this??

Now the problem. I just put 101,000 km on it, and dodge says my warranty was good up to 100k and are debating if they will pay anything... do you guys think that they will come through for me, or am I screwed?

Thanks for the help!

I sorry to say but i think your screwed. I dont understand how the hell a motor could just seize up like that unless there was no oil or it wasnt getting oil. the only time ive seen that happen is if your racing and have like a superscharger and nitrous and your beating the hell out of the motor. sorry dude[sm=boohoo.gif]

I'd also have to agree...I don't see how the motor would just "seize up". Did the truck just stop? Did it do anything when you tried to start it again?

As far as the warranty, I highly doubt they're going to do anything for you.

did it really seize as in the pistons heated up and got stuck to the cylindar wall or did you just break your timing chain?
