Not starting after work done (electrical)
I have looked over everything today and tested every ground I could find visually, physically, and with a test light. I have found nothing wrong with any of the grounds or other connections I have seen.
Im down to just getting a new starter and trying that.
One side note: This terminal is supposed to be positive right? It runs to the alternator. I only ask because its a black cable and the terminal next to it is also positive.

IIRC, you completely pulled the dash when you replaced the heater core. The problem is not with the starter. You didn't reassemble and reconnect everything properly when reinstalling the dash. That's where the problem lies.
Have you tried using a remote starter button, and how about trying to start it in neutral.

Remote starter does the same thing as turning the key.
OK, I got the threads mixed up. You'll have to carefully retrace what you did before/during/after the plenum repair. Something is not reconnected properly.
The only thing I can even guess at is that the replacement alternator is bad. Its the only thing that has changed on this truck and if it is drawing to much power or something that would cause the truck to die.
Im heading to the battery shop right now to see what they say.
Very happy to report the truck is running again.
The starter tested fine at the battery shop and the guy gave me to new battery terminal ends to try out.
They worked apparently it was just the terminals the whole time. I have no idea why as my last ones seemed fine and worked when I drove the truck in the shop.
Now I am off to put it all back together thanks so much for everyone's help this place is amazing.
