Default Doin' an E-Cutout. Tips/Advice?

With some of my Christmas moneys I plan on buying this little number to stick right in front of the cat.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BadlanzHPE-E...#ht_984wt_1396

According to this thread, It looks like the right size.

One question I do have, is should I just use a downturn, or get some piping and dump it elsewhere?

That one looks just like the Quick time performance\summit racing e cutout's that fall apart. Don't get it. the electric motor comes off. Mine lased 3 days. There is a brand thats comparible to price to those that is good. I can't remember the brand but If you do a little digging around hear you should be able to find it. One thing bout them, they will mostly be left open. At least I left mine open. So I said screw it and have a manual cutout that is left open.

Has anyone done a manual cutout that you can close from somewhere easily accessible or even in the cab? That seems like a much cheaper fail safe alternative

PM lastrights , IIRC he had cutouts, maybe still has. But I'm pretty sure he'll say don't do it. Maybe he'll chime in.

Will do. I'm doing it strictly to have an "obnoxious mode" switch.

IIRC he didn't think to highly of that "switch". And he's not an old fart. LOL Maybe he had it configured differently. I hope he chimes in.
