no fog lights new radio?

dont know if it matters but if im not mistaken all my other interior lights work its just the speedometer one

Best you can do is inspect the switch and the harness where it plugs into the switch. If any contacts look burned or discolored, cleaning won't help. I suggest you just replace the switch.

Bought myself a transfer pump, so im going to do my transfer case ATF4 fluid and an oil change. Also going to clean my throttle body. while im doing this i will pull the steering column cover and see if theres something else that neds to be removed to get to the switch. than ill take a look at the wires

You really only need the pump for the tranny, the TC has a plug at the bottom. And the HL switch is easy. Remove the dash bezel and the switch has a couple screws. You bought a pump, how about a Haynes?

i have a Haynes! I have a 2001 downloaded dodge ram service manual! (all though i have a 98) and I know how to GOOGLE! thats how i did my timing chain gasket, and with this here forum
Also i bought the transfer pump to put the fluid IN my transfer case. last time i had to put a tube into the bottle of the ATF4 and tape it than kinda squeeze it into the transfer case. Boy was that a mess lol.

Then look at the damn manuals! lol And good move on the pump for refilling, I just stick a hose on the end now that I'm no longer at a shop.

just wanted to keep posted still havent pulled the dash to do vac leak and check the switch for the speedometer lights and fog lights but this just in......
yesterday i put in a bigger battery that was brand new and redid the ground wire. i also took the two relays and swapped them in the pcm with each other making sure to press down and get them all way in. i turned the truck on (it started quicker) anyways the lights still didnt come on. thats was yesterday today my wife was pulling in our drive way and I looked out the window. dem sum bitches were on! intrigues me to see if they stay that way...
