Default Heater core replaced today, Do I need to bleed air?

So I replaced my heater core today in my 2001 Ram 1500 5.9L, what a b****.

After I did it all up again, I was thinking about the core and how there was only air in it when I put it all back together. Is there a need to bleed air out of the heating/cooling system?

If so, how would I accomplish this?

Thanks in advance

If you open the cooling system for anything other than the rad. cap or overflow cap it NEEDS to be bled. As far as how, search and ye shall find...a million threads on it. Plus IIRC, its in the DIY/FAQ section also.

Take your time and get all of the air out. Strange things happen with air bubbles in the system.
