Default 2001 dodge ram (cat convertor) question please help

hi i just bought a 2001 dodge ram1500 for $5,400
5.2 liter magnum 4x4
150,000 miles
The check engine light was on and boggs while driving.. i ran codes at autozone and found 02 sensor bank 1 (high voltage) also the computer was flashing evap/cat but with no codes for that?? So I changed 02 sensor/checked evap and found many leaks, fixed all those, changed gas cap and hoped for the best BUT truck still boggs and now check engine light goes on and off while driving.. Now im thinking it could be the CAT Convertor.

does this sound like it could be a cat problem? Any other suggestions if not, I've checked for everything else I can think of and ran out of ideas..

ANY ADVICE would be GREATLY appreciated, thank you in advance.

yep sounds life clogged cat to me. Everyone sais to remove front O2 sensor and see if that helps, if it does its for sure the cat. I personally have never had the problem though.

Also usually when the cat clogs, its because the catalyst inside breaks. Go to the back of the truck and see if there's alot of resistance on the flow of exhaust. Also if there's a bad clicking noise coming from the area whee the cat is then its a dead give-away that its the cat.
