Lund Sun Visor Removal Help

RE: Lund Sun Visor Removal Help
I had one on my 99 1500 (already on when I bought it) and it came off easy by just removing the screws (thankfully no glue) but the holes needed to be filled and repainted the whole roof. So $450 later its finally gone. I'd be willing to sell it for a nominal amount plus shipping costs if anyone is interested.

.
Well, the 'Uni-Brow' (as the wife calls it) is off. It did come off in one piece (PastFast) thankfully. As feared, the person who installed it, used windshield urethane along with the 12 screws into the roof. Let's just say the body shop guys had a blast removing the urethane piles off the roof. They were slowly shaving them off with razorblades. Poor guys. 99% of the urethane came off the roof, and there's a slight dis-coloration where the visor used to sit, but I think it looks much better. For now, I just siliconed new screws back into the roof, and painted the screw-head caps white. Eventually, we'll have the holes welded up and the roof repainted.
For anyone wanting to put one of these ugly things on their truck (I don't know why)... please think about the person who may buy your vehicle in the future, and wish to remove it. Don't use windshield urethane to mount it up! 3M tape along with the 12 screws will work just fine.
PastFast - I'll start looking for a box to ship the visor in, and I'll see how much shipping will be and let you know, if you're still interested in it. Can I get your zipcode? Remember, it's whilte and has the holes for roof marker lights in it. I'll also send the old screws used to mount it in a zip-lock bag. You'll be able to find new ones like I did at Lowe's using the old ones as a sample.
