Default My setup your thoughts

Ok 2001 ram 5.2 2wd

What started this quest was a bad head cracked this is the route im going.Unless I get other ideas


RHS X 1.92 stainless heads
1.7 rr
sct tuner
headers
throttle body
kegger (modded) with hughes plate
msd (reason already have) why not
gutted cat ( already done)
summit y pipe
4.10 gears with a tru trac

What are yall opinions should i change somthing up not to familiar with dodge magnum engines right now this is a sluggish pig

Seems all Magnums are sluggish pigs to be honest.

Coulda swore I responded to this........

The y-pipe by itself is going to help... Fixing the plenum, along with a compete tune-up will go a long way toward finding some of that lost power as well. If you engine is over 100K miles, might wanna add timing chain and gears to your list as well.
