oil pan crisis

No its actually a pretty fresh nut. No that wasnt ne who dropped a nut in my intake that was sk187 thats y in the first post to this thread I told him I found his nut. You know come to think of it I know my plenum is blown but I never did the magnet test I wonder if obe of the other owners did the plenum (im the 3rd) and lost a nut?

I was just going to say that maybe someone did your plenum before or some other work and dropped one in.

When I worked at a rebuild shop, I found a bic lighter in a Mack Truck trans. I still have it in my tool box. the lighter didn't cause the failure, the lack of oil in the trans did that. The nut could have been dropped there from the factory as well, those guys aren't perfect and are on a deadline. they might have known it dropped and thought, "if it's going to be a problem, it will be under warranty" and let it go.

If you didn't hear obvious noises, I wouldn't worry about it.

I would take this opportunity to check the torque on connecting rods and mains. Can you physically see every connecting rod nut?

Yes I can maybe one ir two,that,are,turned a bit can still see all by eye
