Has anyone here coverted their two piece drive sheaft to the stock one piece?

I don't understand the question. Are you talking about the drive shaft or the axle shaft? If you're talking about the axle shaft, then there's a kit you can buy to do it. It will also give you lock-out hubs. If you're talking about the drive shaft, then I guess I really don't know why you'd change out the stock shaft at all. Unless you're making massive amounts of power or you're lifting your truck more than 4".

right now my 96 2x4 truck has a 2 piece drive shaft with a carrier barring. well I have a 3 inch lif and a 3 inch body lift. My carrier barring has wore out so I was wondering if any one has changed it from a 2 piece to a solid 1piece drive shaft wich comes on the 4x4 truck. Basiclly I want to get rid of the carrier barring and the extra u-joints.

I gues no one has thought of changing their two piece (with carrier bearing) drive shaft to a one piece aluminum one. HELP or post any statements
