Hey all, I already fixed my odd problem, so I thought I would share how I did it. I replaced the driver's door on my 2001 regular cab Ram 2 days ago. Everything went fine until I closed the door. The light stayed on & if I put the key in, the dinger went off light the door was still open. I think the jam switch may be adjustable, but it was late & I was frustrated so I used a small round magnet on the spot of the door where the jam switch meets it. Problem solved. If any of you know how to adjust the jam switch, I am open to hear about it, otherwise this strong little magnet cured it.
