Unhappy 96 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2l 8cyl won't turn start

I was leaving from work the other day and I was sitting at traffic light and my truck started to run rough and shake. I started to go from the traffic light and I was losing power and rpm was dropping slowly while I was giving it gas. I decided to pull into the parking lot and it finally stalled on me. I would start it and it would just die right away. Please note it was bad weather on this day so i'm not sure if anything got wet under the hood so could this be a possibility. I tried to start it today after I cleaned the IAC valve and it tried to fire up but failed it again. Any suggestions?

what's the weather like today? When is the last time the truck had a tune up? (cap, rotor, wires, plugs.) Have you fixed the plenum yet? What is the unladen airspeed of an unladen swallow?

Hot and humid(Florida). The plug and wires were changed a little over a year ago. Distributor and Rotor were the first things I will change. Nope the plenum hasn't been changed. I tried to start again and I heard a hissing sound by the driver side

Check the cap and rotor, see what they look like.

I like the pillow idea, sometimes a good nap can help.

I hope people at least remove the air cleaner. Remove the TB too, then you can check the plenum at the same time.
