Strting issue

I think I remember reading about a problem like this in the last couple days, but I can't remember the thread title.
Well, lately when I'm starting my truck when it's cold it won't stay running. On regular warm days it starts the rpm gauge goes to 1000 then drops to about 600. When it gets a little colder it stays around 1000 for about 40-60 secs. But a couple times (about 5 times in the last 2 months) it won't stay running it will start and just stall. And it will continue to do so. So if I start it once and it does that I have to start it and give it gas and keep it around 1500 rpm for about a minute, if I let off it will just stall.
