As most of you know ive done ALOT of work on my front end lately. Went and had it aligned and its with in spec now. Went on a fire call this am and i couldnt safely do over 65(75mph hwy...) truck felt like it was on ice, bouncing and sway all over...was hard to stay on my side of the road. Any ideas? truck seriously handled better before i did all this work...
New stuff
timkin wheel bearings
XRf front tie rods, balljoints and adjustable trak bar
new steering box
new axle shafts and new spicer ujoints
i dont know if it just needs breaking in or what but it was scary...

Is your adjustable trac bar the right length? If its too long your your front axle will be more towards your passenger side making your truck swerve that way,
now if your trac bar is too short it will cause your axle to be more towards the driver side making the truck want to go that way.

If the truck is dog tracking it will make the truck wander all over the place, I have experinced it first hand, the back is fighting the front.
I had posted this for someone else.
Well for S & G’s get a long piece of 3/16 or ¼ inch rope, tie it to your hitch or something on the back of the truck, next take that piece of rope and about half way up the tire go around the whole truck with the rope. Tie it off tight, and then go to the front of the truck and look to see if the rope is offset, the rope should look the same on both sides of the truck. A little wider at the front is ok. If it’s off go back to the alignment shop and get them to fix it.
A bad diag of what I am talking about.
