Well the hood is on the truck. Now to get it adjusted so it will latch all the way.

The mounting holes from my sport grill shell to the hood are off, so they are no nuts holding it that way (only 4 of them line up, the 2 on the outside, and 2 by the grill emblem but dont push through enough to attach nuts).
I have the grill brace mounted to the hood though so its solid. The grille that was on it just used self tapping screws for some reason to secure it

Oh and I suggest getting a buddy to help, its a pain in the butt by yourself

thats a good price on that. Craigslist is awesome!

Ive always thought the cowl hoods look good on some as well. I wonder how well the shaker hood they sell actually looks on a truck. other than the stock picture I mean.

No I had the grill made. The guy was going to go into production of them but is taking some time away from forum life, so not sure when he will make them again.

Well had to stay home with my daughter this morning so thought I would mess with it before heading to work. Got it to shut and latch. Now need to figure out if its my fender, or the hood hinge why I have a large gap on the passenger side. I know there may be some differences between the stock and this but don't think its this bad.

You have the same kind of hood as me. I've got my hinges as far down as they will go, and there is still a pretty big gap. I've just lived with it lol
