You can get a manual set on ebay for like $150!

If you have the power mirrors it will be more

Where do you stow tools and misc stuff? I'm using ammo cans.

Is your spare under the bed? Any interest in one of those tiregates that can also hold other utilities, like shovel/etc.?

I've seen those too. they cut out the rot and either welded or bondo'd the diamond plate in. looked pretty good all polished up...have also seen black.

found a set of power heated mirrors on ebay for 200 shipped. gonna get those.

took the spare tire out, isnt the right size anyway. plus when i plow in the winter i use sand/salt mix (that the city provides the residents for free) in my bed for weight. 90% of the time i can plow in 2wd. so the tire gate wouldnt be a helpful mod.

again, my rockers arent rusted. its my doors. why would i put something over them, thats gonna cause them to rust out quicker.

the other thought thats been crossing my mind(even though i said no power adders) is a set of HS 1.7's

gonna talk to zman later. taking a drive to get a t-case saver off him, might as well buy the cab light setup he has too (plug n play harness as well). the thought of drilling into my roof doesnt sound appealing though.

i also thought about a set of rims. im a fan of the american racing outlaw rims.

and if i can find a set of dana 60's around me locally and not 300 miles away, im going to do a axle swap instead of everything else.

may be a stupid Q's but why cant you put a aftermarket bumper on and not be able to put a plow on still? Is it pysicaly impossible due to plow mounts or just a pain in the ***?

They are heavy as hell....number 1. So if you combine a heavy *** bumper with a heavy *** plow, you get some major suspension droop. And a poor ride. And easily worn out components.

Well, that's what I would do for non-power adders.

not that at all. my truck drops maybe 3/4" with my 8' plow. which weighs over 800#'s the reason you cant have an aftermarket bumper is because it will interfere with the mounts and the headgear. it would be impossibe to hook up the plow with the aftermarket bumper.
