Default Transmission interchange

Hey all,

Is there a particular site that I can look up interchangeable parts for my 96 dodge ram 1500 5spd truck? I had a shot nv3500 5 spd currently...I've seen several nv3500s from chevys and dakotas, but I'm unsure if they would fit. I'm currently on the road and about 10 hours from home...theres a nv3500 from a chevy 1500 5spd for sale nearby...but I'd rather not chance it if I can look up a interchange site.

From one salvage yard I went to they said only 94-96 ram 1500/2500 have a compatible nv3500 5spd....

Thoughts? Thanks!

I don't think there are any interchange manuals posted online. At least, none that I can find...... Junk yards have 'em, might have to go with their advice.....

I would take the JY's word for it. They have the best interchange software.
