hard cold start & surges/ bucks while trying maintain speed

well fixxed.. thank god and finaly... to come to the point it was 3 bad wires and 2 fouled plugs. straight from the auto parts store. traded for new now runs better then ever.

Is the engine buckng or transmision? In cold weather especially my trans has a hard time getting into third and if you do it too soon or give it a little too much gas it will buck pretty hard while it trys to pick a gear... And do these trucks hate getting intake work done or what? I think I've read 4 threads with issues after intake was replace or otherwise altered

No big deal doing intake work if all is done right. And usually it's the motor or sensors or cat that cause bucking problems.

it was engine not trans
