Default 99 360 4x4 wont run right after hughes f1 install

Hi everyone, I think I'm a first time poster long time lurker, I've owned all dodges and am currently in a neon and my ram.

Yesterday I installed a Hughes air gap intake, and it hasn't ran right since.
The truck will start and idle HORRIBLY, when you give it gas it bogs right down and will most times shut the truck of. After a bit of waiting and unplugging the tps it finally decided to run better but is still backfiring occasionally and once it starts running and driving it will just cut right out like you let off the peddle ( rpm and MPH both drop off)
I did reuse a stock throttle body as well as ecu (waiting on ups for my 50mm and Sct)

Is this normal? I've bought 2 new tps trying to resolve the issue to no avail.

Thanks Mike

Oh and if I forgot its a 99 1500 4x4 5.9 auto trans

Did you reset the computer like they say in the instructions so it can re-learn the fuel rate?

Oh, and check for vacuum leaks? Try spraying some intake cleaner around the vacuum ports and TB spacer while at a idle and listen for a change in the rpm. If there's a leak, it will suck it in

Could also be the idle air valve on the back if the TB. Especially with the ruff idle, but not sure if that fits with the drop out while driving.... coulda got stuck during the install job.

if it won't idle smooth, need to figger that one out first. I suspect misrouted plug wires.

Yes I did "relearn" by touching the two battery cables. Truck had a full tune up last week so I know plugs, wires, cap, and rotor are all good and were rechecked yesterday by myself and a second hand. I did replace the coil yesterday along with the intake, and water pump. I was going to do timing chain while I was there but ran out of time.
The truck ran fine going to the shop yesterday. I just checked vacuum lines and they SEEM right but I don't have a diagram however the vacuum at the booster is poor at best.

"touching the two battery cables" is spooky to me.. I hope they were both disconnected..

honestly, it sounds to me like a gross vacuum leak.. please tell me you didn't re-use the TTY bolts, please.. did you check torque on the bolts? Have you checked your oil for milkshake?

also, check the connections at the PCM.. they are sometimes easy to bump when your monkeying around under the hood like that..

Did you replace the engine coolant sensor with a new one and plug it back in

Well, the idle crisis was partially the ecu and IAC, even though the ecu was reset the truck was never allowed to sit and idle. The IAC most likely got a little heated when the cable bracket was notched and decided to throw a temper tantrum. Tps issue is still up in the air

Edit: the intake bolts were changed as well as all the sensors on the intake since the old ones didn't want to come out anyway
