Default 1996 Ram 1500 5.9 stalling and running rough

i have a 1996 dodge ram 1500 5.9 that has been acting up lately, it has been not wanting to start once in a while unless i give it gas and will stall if i dont keep the rpms up for a little bit when first started. The idle has seemed to be pretty high when in neutral lately also. it has two codes right now one for incorrect evaporative purge flow and a one for a o2 sensor....what could be the problem ?

What's the O2 sensor code? Is your starting problem temp dependent? (only acts up on cold, or hot starts?)

I would start by reinstalling the gas cap...thats usually the evap code cause...and if your 02 sensor has more than like 80k on it change it...hell change it anyway because of the code...they are only $20...the pre cat one is the one you want to change...you can swap it with the post cat sensor to troublshoot, they should be the same (mine are and I have a 96 as well.) another reason for 02 sesor codes could be from a faulty cat... is yours gutted or possibly clogged? does the truck burn oil? if so your cat may be plugged up...
