got at 99 5.2 1500 sport. truck is strong but has not ***** until i hit 2500 rpm and truck is always wanting to shift into overdrive. any type of up hill truck has to downshift to 2200 rpm jus to get up it. Any suggestions?

it could be that issue i just recently replaced my cat because it clogged on me. im located in thornton. it is just north of plymouth just south of lincoln.

 

My BIL changed the cat twice while he had the Ram I bought form him...and knew nothing about the plenum problem. But the muffler shop guys liked seeing him chug in!
