Actually, body lifts raise the CoG less than a suspension lift, as they only lift the body, and the heavier parts don't move up.
exactly.... plus they dont mess with suspension geometry which can cause things like death wobble and premature wear on things....
they both have advantages... I'm thankful for one that I had my body lift when working on things...so much better access... the distributor has three extra inches all around and the cps sensor would have been a bitch without it...
Hey generaljr how bad is it to buy either 2" or 3" coil lifts and put em on my 97 2500 2wd???
And endisnear that white ram with the 4" lift, how big are those tires 33s? That's what i want my 2500 to look like maybe alittle more lift an inch or 2?
Hey auggiedoggy I wanted to put a 3" body lift and then 2" or 3" lift coils in and then 3" block kit in the rear, how big tires you thjnk I could squeeze under there? Stock rims hopefully toyo mud terrains, the 2500 what gears does it have in the rearend stock? What should I replace them with and how bad is an LSD going to cost to convert it?
is not that hard to install them, just need to disconect the sway bar, spindles etc, to be able to move the lower control arm all the way down to push in the coils
