Default 1997 dodge ram idleing issue!!

I have a 1997 dodge ram with an idleing issue. I just recently replace the IAC (Idle air censor) and it runs fine till it gets up to temp. Which is around 220 degrees and if the rpms drop below 1000 and i dont give it a little gas it will cut off. Ive heard several different things that could be causing it but im hoping to get an exact diagnosis. Thanks for any and all info!!

First off, read this just to get it out of the way. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...um-thread.html

Second, when you replaced the IAC did you have the negative battery cable disconnected when doing so? All in all, it sounds like a pre cat o2 sensor issue. Read the plenum thread.
