is there a correct name for it or is it just an air filter clamp? and anyone got a pic of one?

thanks stewie. and there isn't another piece that fits between the manifold and box? it just sits on top and the clamp holds it down i take it?

Yup. The box is technically two pieces, but it needs to come off and go on as one piece. There is a little gasket that sits between the bottom of the box and the throttle body. $5 at AutoZone....

AHAHAHAHA! $30 for the clamp from the stealership! time to call up some junkyards!
and our junkyards ****** suck. nothing. i found it online for $21 but shipping is $10. looks like im gonna have to bite the bullet on this one

Man I guess when the U-Pull-It goes away here I am going to go insane. There you go in and pay 2 dollars, walk around and take parts pay for them on the way out. I dont like dealing the other way. Because just like is said they dont keep that kind of stuff.
