Default Shocks off a JK?

So I found some shocks for my 98 2wd ram, but the problem is their off a jeep JK and their made for a 2.5"-4" lift. I have a 3" on my ram. Their Skyjacker H7055 Hydro Shocks fronts and H7037 Hydro Shocks rears. Please let me know if they will fit!

Ok to make you happy, they will fit! Bolt 'em on Son!

But seriously, a quick check of part numbers (not the model or type #) will tell you if they will work or not.

three things about a shock..

the i2i length..
the travel..
the designed/intend load range

figure what you need mathematically in length and travel- use your resting height, use your extended height, and use your collapsed height.. Mr. Pythagorean is going to be your friend..

once you locate the shock that suites those needs, look for volume suitable for your application..

I don't think you would appreciate the ride quality of a shock made for a much lighter vehicle.. it's not about comfort, that's for little girls- it's about keeping the rubber in contact with the terra as much as possible..

The front ones won't even mount to a 2wd Ram. Will they?
