Default Help Diagnose my truck

Hello fellow ram truck owners!

I need some help with my truck! I currently own a 2001 Ram 1500 series short-wide with the 5.2 liter Magnum V8. (Automatic Transmission as well)

The engine starts jerking when I accelerate into 2nd gear around the 40-45 mph marker then smooths out when I reach 60mph!!!

I have a few ideas, but I want to hear it from some experts on this forum!!

Thanks so much!!!!

So I'm guessing it runs ok at speeds below 40 and over 60? Usually the torque converter locks in around 40-45mph or so, how's the transmission feel at higher/lower speeds?

Have you addressed your plenum, cat, and O2 sensor's yet? When the #8 spark plug fouled out on my truck I couldn't get past 45mph, but I think that's because of a clogged cat....

You have a miss. Check the plenum first.
