Default Ram vs. Jeep question

I searched the forum and stickies and could not find the answer to my question. I need a 46rh transmission for my 94 ram. Is the 46rh from jeeps a straight bolt in swap, or are there differences in the trannies? Does anyone have a link for vehicles that have the 46rh? I am sure that this has been covered somewhere on here, I just can't find it. Thanks in advance.

Ram's, Dakota's, and jeeps all used the same trans so far as I know. In the Ram's, if it's behind a gas V-8 engine, it will be a 46R? trans. Weight rating doesn't matter.

I found that 93-95 grand cherokee's had the 46rh tranny. Are these identical?

Maybe only later models, but IIRC some jeeps have the starter on the opposite side.

Also, there were early model A518's that were not computer controlled. You don't want one of them. That's mid-late 80's I think though.

I'm not sure, I just remember a thread a while back on this. I'm pretty sure the jeep was a 5.2 or 5.9.
