Default Headlights will not fit, help!

I recently purchased some Halo LED Projector headlights for my 1995 Dodge Ram (non sport) truck. CarID said it would fit my truck and not sport models. I tried to install them, and the back will not fit into the slot without cutting away metal. I am about to return them if I don't find a solution soon. Are these headlights only meant for dual beam headlight setups? (like on a sport -.-)

Can't really tell without photos, but others have had to cut out to make new lights fit.

^^^ What he said. Also, you are not allowed to be named RareColorRam1995 without putting a picture of your rare colored ram in your signature.

used a hammer and hammered one of my fenders out of the way behind the light......I thought it was a sport fender but turns out the front clip including one fender is from a 95...

dont forget they are likely wired wrong so if they are the dual bulb ones and both lights come on when high beams are on and the highbeam indicator light stays lit but dim when high beams are off you need to swap the wires so the colors line up and the blue and purple wire go together.

That explains why my bright indicator stayed lit! Hmm. And there is only one problem with the signature thing; I don't know how to make one

they are all wired incorrectly from the same plant in china and have been for years... they just dont seem to care. I advise you to complain to where you bought them and let them know they are wired wrong. (some sellers made up stories claiming you got the wrong ones or the wiring on your truck is to blame). and You were told by others here who had the same issue. Someone here did that last week and they refunded their money and let them keep the lights!...

fyi they are WAY brighter when you swap the wires and they work right...they got a bad rap from many who just thought that was how they were supposed to work...
