I guess it's a matter of luck, who knows... Maybe just because it's an old chevy....

This is just from personal experience but EVERY vehicle I've drove or my parents have drove has always run bad with havoline, it's hard to explain...

I like the Mopar Filters. Use whatever oil they call for in your owners manual, which I believe is 10w-30.
