Angry Just Great!!

On top of my transmission problem...

Was driving home from work tonight to notice all my lights were dimming.. not any spacific cycles per sec/min but just randomly dimming.. Im thinking alternator.. Voltage regulator is in the PCM on these trucks correct? I will test the alternator with a Voltmeter tomorrow.. any other ideas?

1) Voltage on dash read ~ 15v (little high)
2) messing with the light switch did not help
3) lights off nothing seems to dim (radio clock looks fine
4) no CEL (for this problem anyway) or Alt. light if our trucks have one

??

Check your grounds first.

Check all the grounds you can find. And have the battery tested also.

Check battery and connections. Use volt meter on battery to verify voltage. Remove you headlight switch and check the plug itself for signs of heat or melting. If it looks even sketchy, replace the plug and switch.
