Default Turn signals getting stuck on?

My turn signals seem to be getting stuck on fairly often. Instead of the arrow flashing on the dash it will just stay green without blinking. They get stuck on in both directions and will even get stuck when the 4 way flashers are on.

I thought it would be the turn signal assembly(the lever you move to initiate the signal left or right) but the fact that it gets stuck on when using the 4 way signals eliminates that as I believe its a separate part.

Anyone have any ideas?

replace the flasher unit in the end of dash fuse box. driver's side. seems like someone once said that some models have 2 flashers, one for blinker and one for emergency flasher, but i don't know if that's true or not.

Take the cover off the fuse panel on the side of the dash. If you have a big blue plastic thing staring you in the face , that's the all in one flasher. It's in the top middle of this pic. Turn the key on and put your finger on it. Put one of the directional's on and see if you can feel it pulse. Then put the other side directional on and see if pulses. Should do the same when you push the e flasher light button.

Are you brake lights burnt out? Or maybe your front flashers? That could cause your turn signals to not flash as you describe. Check to see that the lights themselves are stuck on.

An iffy bulb, a bad connection or bulb socket can also be a prob.

A bulb did just go out but it has been doing this for some time.

I will just replace the bulb and flasher/relay.

Good starting point. Change those and let us know if anything changed.
