I just bought one, I'll give it a try and see what happens. For 13 bux it isn't a big deal if it doesn't work.

 

Hey guys it's a $0.05 resistor at radio shack. If I remember right it is 4.7kohms and it goes into the plug for your ait sensor. You will notice a difference because all it does is make the pcm this the air that is comming into the intake is colder.

 

Those are just plain lies right there. There is NO WAY a resistor could do the same thing as an ECU upgrade....it's NOT POSSIBLE. An ECU upgrade changes shift points, line pressure, rev limiters, fuel pressure, injector pulses, and so much more. I don't care what kind of resistor you put in, it's not gonna do that. And how they charge more than $1.00 for a $.25 resistor is beyond me.

My advice, save for a mopar performance engine controller. It's a much better upgrade. It may cost more, and require you to burn premium gas...but it's the way to go if you're serious about performance.

 

Do you like watching your gas gauge move. That is all it is going to do --dump fuel. Magic is right it is a resistor less than 25 cent.
