I dont have one from a manual transmission in there, I found one on craigslist and the guy told me it would work, and I wasnt sure thats why I was asking. I didnt think it would, just wanted to verify. Thank you. I have found many on ebay, mine is p/nP56046 347ad.. Havent seen one like it, the others are P56046 but the rest is different. Would those work by any chance?

Well now that we know that, I'd say there is a strong possibility you have a couple different issue's. But either way, no matter what PCM you get, it will want to be flashed by the dealer.

Grab the 01 service manual from the faq section, I think there is a test in there for the voltage regulator.

beware there's a lot of shady people looking for a quick buck on craiglist... a couple days ago another member (papaG) thought he bought a 46re tranny from a 99 ram (what he was told) and it turns out its a 46rH from a 94-95 ram... and the seller wont return his calls...(big suprise)

So my 56046347af pcm can be replaced with any of the above PCM part numbers that were updated to the AG #?

I have a 98 1500 5.9 automatic 4x4
