brake light wiring issue

Default brake light wiring issue

About a month and a half ago i was towin my bosses trailer. and the wirin is so messed up in it that it caused my brake light switch and wiring to melt.He was suppose to fix it but he fired me and i bought a new switch and connector kit and had a garage install it. But now the lights still stay on when the key is turnin the truck on and somehow the mechanic F*cked up and now my heater stays on. and wont fix it. i want to try and do it myself but need a little help.

Grab the 01 service manual from the faq section here, and page thru the wiring diagrams, to see how things are supposed to be.....

If you PAID a shop to install the harness, and now they won't fix it, file a complaint with the BBB, maybe have a chat with a lawyer, or even just take them to small claims court.
