Oh, and one more thing before I forget, whats the current thoughts on O2 Sensors? I am thinking of cleaning and trying to reuse my old ones but while I was looking up converters on Rock Auto I checked to see if they were cheap enough that I should just get new ones. I see quite a price disparity for O2 sensors depending on whether they are "Ultrapower" or Nippon Denso or Bosch, AC Delco etc. I know the cheapest ones you usually have to splice the plug on but there were a couple Standard branded parts listed as wholesaler closeouts that were the OE plug and play style for pretty reasonable. I have always tried to run the Bosch units but in this case a pair of those are over twice as much as the Standard brand units. Any thoughts?

Denso or NTK (or is it NGK). Others don't seem to work so well. Someone will chime in momentarily and add....

gdstock..About the kegger mod where you cut out the dividers, supposed to give you better mileage and response across the power band? Is that what you did to yours? If so is there a DIY for this mod posted on the forum somewhere? I have searched and searched and while I find the ultimate plenum thread I have not found anything on the mod. Do you think its worth doing? If it is I am thinking I can just zip the excess off with my plasma and grind and it will be fairly simple. I would really like to see how well I can improve the drivability and mileage for the most reasonable amount of work and $$

I figure the Magnaflow deal is at least somewhat brand hype but I wasn't sure, didn't have two units to compare side to side or I might have tried to find a Walker or similar. As it is I couldn't find a Walker for much less than 300 + shipping so I figured that 400 was not that bad and then I would at least be sure of getting what I need without too much monkey motion. Besides, now I will have a cool Magnaflow sticker to put on my truck to further increase the performance and mileage. And you know, I am not sure but I think I felt my johnson grow just a bit as soon as I ordered the Manaflow. LOL. But seriously, if someone wants to give me 100 bucks for the Magnaflow Hi Flow sticker I would only somewhat reluctantly let it go and just be content with the converter.

Here is the DIY on kegger mod. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...egger-mod.html

It is supposed to make it breathe easier and not starve the intake stroke for any cylinder. It seemed to give a little more grunt on low end, but as I changed timing set at same time, I cannot swear which had more effect.

How many stickers do you want? I have several that I would sell for a lot less!

Default Update on the 5.2 project

Got the timing chain changed, rear main seal and oil pan gasket and got the front of the engine back together. Here is a link to my FB page where I posted some pictures of the "kegger" mod I am doing.

http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...1&l=bd4aaf1aa3

Highly recommend using the Fel Pro one piece pan gasket set and making a set of 4 dowels to use to reinstall the pan. When I looked at the gasket it has the 4 corner bolt holes slightly smaller. If you put the dowels in and slide the gasket up into place they hold the gasket in perfect alignment until you get the pan in place and buttoned up.

Still need to change the CAT, looks like I will have to chop the pipes and use a tail pipe expander to remove the stub so that will be the last thing on the list. Will add more pics to the FB album as I take them tomorrow. Thanks again for all the input Dodge Forum friends.
