I got the Air Gap and for what you pay for it (nearly $700), it's not worth it. I wouldn't pay more then $400 for it. To each his own though...

they are only $600 with shipping from stores on ebay... I kinda thought even that was a bit much.... carb style m1 manifolds are only about $200.00...I cant believe it costs that much more for injectors holes and matched runners...

But there is A few Mopar air gap intakes on eBay for $169 shipped brand new. Question is, with my current mods is the intake to much? I'm thinking of a bbk throttle body and some 1.6 rr's too. And what is my best option for tuning it.
Get a plate off ebay or Hughes and don't forget to replace the cat (Magnaflow hi flow) and o2's (NTK or Denso).

And btw, what part of the world do you live in? just curios

I would get the M1 and put a 50mm TB on it from Rich at Hi-Potek.

Here is the correct M1 you want (don't get the right hand linkage). the $319 version has a powerband that is 2600-6500 RPM range. Not good for towing. I think that is why people say that the M1 makes you lose a lot of power. There are THREE TYPES of M1 intakes for MPI!!! YOu will need to spend close to 475 for the M1.

Here is the Throttle Body. For the 30 dollar core, I would just keep your own and not send it back. Just so you have a stock one.

Rich offers free shipping and he has price matched for me.

I'm thinking about just getting a molar performance crate 360 with 350 up and 420 ftl. Of torque.

If you get that crate engine, read the fine print. You can't use that crate engine with AC. The block is different and you will not be able to run that accessory. Plus it costs about 5 grand.

The only place you can get a "crate" 350 for magnum engines is here:
http://www.precisionengine.com/rebui...nes/index.html

about 4 grand just for the engine, if you get the 360. About 3K for the performance 318. I would get the performance 318 and a hemifever tune. Make sure to get the cam specs of the cam they installed.
