Default Lift Options ?

So I need to lift my truck a Tad, I figure 2" - 2.5"
With just 2.5" I shouldn't have to change my Trac-bar, Control arms or Pitman arm, correct ?
I already need new shocks, so that is not a concern.
Was thinking of Coils instead of spacers
Anyone use these guys ?
These are $130 shipped

http://www.customsuspension.com/dodge_leveling_kits.php

Other options are:
Rough Country makes 2" Coils
Superlift makes 2.5" Coils
I also have looked everywhere for used 2500 coils, but there are none
to be found, new ones are $160
I would like to retain a factory ride, not harsh like Rancho.

Whats your thoughts ?

I love my spacer, truck actually rode better and kept stock shocks. Did a add a leaf in the back wick I think lowered my ability to carry stuff but other than that I only have good things to say. I know you said you don't want a spacer but why?

Two reasons:
1: I think my factory coils are tired
2: If I go 2" -2.5" coils, Later if I want more lift I can add the spacers

My truck has 270k and only rides crappy cuz its on it's second tired set of shocks and nm roads suck. Most stuff that I have read advise against combining the spacers with any other lift, I would do the space again because it was $80 and 45 minutes of work including us trying 3 different spring compressors $.02

I'm measuring ride height as the height of the springs installed.
I just measured mine on the truck and they are 12" and the spring diameter is .760
Also, Measurements from axle center to fender is:
Front: 23"
Rear: 25"

Does anyone know the measurements with 2500 5.9 gas springs installed ?
The spring specs say 16" ride height, that would give me 4" lift
But I have read that people are getting 2" lift
A Little confused here

just my 2 cents cuz i have done it all and seen it after different things. if ur gonna go coils, go with 2" cuz ur old coils are prob. saggin some, so when u put new ones on u might actually get like 2.5" until they set in some.

All I can say is my 2500 v8 sits about as high up front (factory suspension) as a 2" leveled 1500. I have the 8800 GVWR with a 5.9, nv4500, reg cab long bed, so its a lightweight heavy duty. I weigh in at about 5200 lbs. Hope that helps.

P.S. Those are 33's on my '95 in my sig picture, if that gives you any idea.

Didn't think of this before, but a small amount of my height difference is probably due to the fact that I have a larger axle up front. The thicker diameter axle tube must naturally push the hub farther from the bottom of the spring.

Just a thought to keep in consideration.

Also, I would think that lift springs designed for a 1500 should ride nicer than 3/4 ton springs.
